There is a problem with football NFL draft
I’ve been a big football fan for as long as I can remember. Watching the draft isn’t one of my favorite moments as a football fan, or as a sports fan in general, with how tedious and boring the proceedings are; but I know how important it is.
But the one problem I figured with the NFL Draft that I could think of right off the bat is the idea of signing draft picks, i.e the number one pick, ahead of the start of the draft.cheap jerseys free shipping
Why do I think this is bad?
Here are some reasons.
It takes away of the surprise of the first overall pick. We might already know that a team, for example Indianapolis picking Andrew Luck in this year’s draft, but the minute or two after the start of the draft waiting for that first pick is still a little bit of a adrenaline rush of a possible switch of players or a trade of picks.Cheap Philadelphia Eagles jersey
It ruins the rest of the draft. I mean who wants the number two team to start the draft. The draft is already boring as it is why skip over the best pick in the draft (next to the last one when everyone celebrates the end of it). Everyone ultimately tunes out by pick five, pick 10 and just checks in when there team is picking or see whom they picked.
It’s additional pressure on the number one pick, in my opinion. The number one pick has all of this pressure anyway, but if your chosen ahead of the draft as that number one pick, I believe that the pressure is increased two-fold because the team is relying on you more-so to win and be the next big thing than if they would’ve waiting until the draft already started.

Players age: Brian dawkins
Those stats alone make him an all-timer, but his on-field work ethic was just as impressive – Weapon X never took a play off.
His leadership and intensity was legendary, and his pre-game speeches were inspirational. Teammates loved him and opposing players feared him.
To round out his elite-level production and effort, Dawk is by all accounts a helluva nice person. I havent heard or read one negative thing about him from players, coaches, or even fans.
That’s pretty rare in today’s NFL. Then again, he was a bit of a throwback…to an era personified by toughness, no-nonsense football, and lead-by-example leadership.
Dawkins is unquestionably one of the greatest Philadelphia Eagles ever, and certainly one of the most popular. Among his contemporaries, he deserves mention with the other two greats of his era at the Safety position: Troy Polamalu & Ed Reed.

Evan Moore (Cle)If you really need a Tight End, this guy could be a steal, being the biggest sleeper going into week 3. He goes up against Miami, giving up the most fantasy points to Tight Ends in Yahoo leagues as well as 30th in pass defense. Moore caught 2 TDs already this year and has a strong upside considering Colt McCoy’s lack of targets to throw to in Cleveland.

Dexter McCluster (KC)With Jamaal Charles out for the season, McCluster will get plenty of touches as well as put up good numbers against a terrible San Diego run defense and mediocre pass defense, especially in PPR leagues.

Jacoby Jones (Hou)With Kevin Walter banged up, Jones should bid well in a starting role against the Saints who will be draped all over Andre Johnson. |
